New renderings have been revealed ahead of today’s meeting for Peninsula Crossing, a multi-structure development at 1200-1340 Bayshore Highway in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The city’s Planning Commission will conduct a design review study for the laboratory research complex with two garages and new improvements to the San Francisco Bay Trail. The development is being sponsored by project developer DivcoWest.

SRI is a non-profit scientific research institute best known for its work in developing Siri, the voice assistant on the iPhone. Lane Partners is sponsoring the project.
A recent visit by YIMBY shows significant construction progress for the multi-block Elco Yards project at 1601 El Camino Real in Downtown Redwood City, San Mateo County. The move also comes as the project developer, IQHQ, has reportedly purchased several properties adjacent to its existing master plan. Currently, crews are working to create over five hundred residences, offices, retail, a child care center, and open space across 8.3 acres.
Construction activity has started for the eight-story infill at 988 Harrison Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The activity was spotted just over two weeks after excavation permits were issued by the San Francisco Planning Department. J.S. Sullivan is the project developer.
