Construction Finished for 290 Malosi Street at Sunnydale Block 6, San Francisco

Construction has finished for the 100% affordable residential complex at 290 Malosi Street, located within HOPE SF’s Sunnydale masterplan in San Francisco. The new block adds 167 new units along with a landscaped central courtyard, amenities, and community space to the Visitacion Valley neighborhood. Mercy Housing and The Related Companies are the project developer.

Permanently Affordable Housing Breaks Ground At 180 Jones Street, Tenderloin, San Francisco

Mayor London N. Breed, representatives from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, and local community leaders recently celebrated the groundbreaking for an affordable housing project at 180 Jones Street in Tenderloin, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of 70 100% affordable homes for the unhoused. Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) is the project developer. Van Meter Williams Pollack is responsible for the design concepts. Cahill Contractors is responsible for the construction.

Event Tomorrow for Affordable Educator Housing in Sunset District, San Francisco

Construction is expected to start this summer on the Shirley Chisholm Village Educator Housing at 1360 43rd Avenue in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The property has been used as a public park over the last six years while the city reviewed the housing project. Now with approval set and construction to start in a few months, an event has been organized to celebrate the impending closure of Parkland at 43rd Avenue tomorrow, May 7th.
