A new mixed-use project has proposed for development at 3260 26th Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new six-story mixed-use building offering residential and commercial spaces. Plans call for the demolition of the existing one-story industrial structure on the site. Kerman Morris Architecture LLP is responsible for the designs.
The City of Millbrae has approved plans for 1301 Broadway in Millbrae, San Mateo County. The project will add a seven-story apartment building with nearly a hundred affordable units close to El Camino and in a mixed-use neighborhood with several restaurants, retail, and hotels. AMG & Associates and the Pacific Companies are jointly responsible for the project.
The Julia Morgan-designed YWCA Building at 1515 Webster Street in Downtown Oakland recently changed ownership for $22.5 million. The 109-year-old Renaissance revival building is now owned by a current tenant and public charter school, with plans to bring teach housing to the top two floors. Oakland-based Highbridge Equity Partners had previously owned the property.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 14-16 30th Street in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the restoration of the existing five dwelling units and addition of a third floor.
Westbank has submitted updated plans to pivot from offices to housing to replace the Charles Davidson Building at 255 West Julian Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project was one of several high-profile projects within the Westbank masterplan developed in collaboration with Urban Community. This shift marks the fourth iteration for the vacant freeway-side parcel and the second time Urban Community proposed housing.
