Construction Next Year For 470 South Market Street in Downtown San Jose

Construction is expected to start early next year for the affordable housing project at 470 South Market Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The Gateway Tower team has secured millions of dollars in city and county funding to pursue the 15-story project, with the majority of financing provided by JPMorgan Chase Bank. The Core Companies is sponsoring the project.

Meeting Tonight For Orchards Affordable Apartments, San Ramon

The San Ramon Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tonight for affordable housing at 6001 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The four-story project will add one hundred units within the much larger Orchards Development masterplan to redevelop the former Chevron global headquarters campus. Eden Housing is the project application, filed on behalf of the property owner, Sunset Development Company.

Construction Expected in 2026 For La Maravilla, Mission District

Plans have been approved for La Maravilla, a nine-story permanent supportive housing complex at 1979 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. Construction is now set to start early next year on the first of three phases on the large parcel overlooking the 16th Street BART Station. Mission Economic Development Agency and Mission Housing Development Corporation are jointly responsible for the project.
