Demolition Permits Filed For 772 Pacific Avenue in Chinatown, San Francisco

Demolition permits have been filed for two existing structures at 758 and 772 Pacific Avenue in Chinatown, San Francisco. The applications seek approval to remove the existing New Asia grocery store and a two-story mixed-use building, ahead of the construction of a 15-story affordable housing tower. Chinatown Community Development Center is the project sponsor, working with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development.

Lease Agreement Reached For 555 Kelly Avenue, Half Moon Bay

The City Council of Half Moon Bay has approved a lease agreement for the affordable housing project at 555 Kelly Avenue in downtown Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County. The town has entered into a 99-year lease agreement with project developer Mercy Housing for a five-story housing project for retired and senior farmworkers. The building will also include a new resource center for Ayudando Latinos A Soñar, a local community non-profit.

Construction Officially Starts For La Maravilla in Mission District, San Francisco

Construction has officially started for La Maravilla, a nine-story permanent supportive housing development at 2970 16th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The complex will eventually provide over a hundred affordable housing units, on-site services, and community-focused amenities overlooking the busy 16th Street BART Station. Mission Housing and Mission Economic Development Agency are jointly responsible for the project.
