State Funding Secured for 772 Pacific Avenue in Chinatown, San Francisco

State financing has been secured to support the 15-story affordable housing proposal at 772 Pacific Avenue in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The development has been awarded $33.5 million from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, allowing the team to continue working towards breaking ground as early as 2027. The Chinatown Community Development Center is responsible for the project.

Two Affordable Developments Now Open at 237 and 253 Race Street in San Jose

Two complimentary affordable developments are now completed on adjacent sites at 237 and 253 Race Street in San Jose’s Sunol-Midtown neighborhood. The project entitled Belliarmo Place opened doors to 116 affordable units last fall. Meanwhile, the project entitled Alvarado Park opened 90 senior affordable housing units just last week. Both buildings were developed by the Santa Clara Housing Authority with The John Stewart Company stepping in as the property managers.

State Funds Secured For Affordable Workforce Housing in San Quentin, Marin County

State funding has been secured to push forward the Oak Hill Workforce Housing project in the unincorporated San Quentin community in Marin County. State Senate President pro Tempore Mike McGuire announced that the new state budget will allocate $7.5 million towards the 135-unit project, allowing the project to progress. Education Housing Partners is the project developer.
