Event Tomorrow for Affordable Educator Housing in Sunset District, San Francisco

Construction is expected to start this summer on the Shirley Chisholm Village Educator Housing at 1360 43rd Avenue in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The property has been used as a public park over the last six years while the city reviewed the housing project. Now with approval set and construction to start in a few months, an event has been organized to celebrate the impending closure of Parkland at 43rd Avenue tomorrow, May 7th.

Google’s Middlefield Park Master Plan Up for Public Review

The draft supplemental environmental impact report has been published for the Middlefield Park master plan, a dense mixed-use development with 1,900 new homes and offices planned in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The document will be available for public comment from now until early June for review by the Mountain View Community Development Department. Google is responsible for the project as the property owner, with Lendlease as the developer and sponsor.

A new affordable housing project has been approved for development at 1616 F Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of an LGBTQ-friendly housing community for seniors at affordable rates. The project application requests commercial paln review. Sacramento-based non-profit Mutual Housing California is the project developer. Mogavero Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
