Affordable Housing Moves Forward at 1135 East Santa Clara Street in San Jose

Santa Clara County is moving forward with plans to bring more affordable housing to the central area of San Jose, with plans to develop a parcel at 1135 East Santa Clara Street. The county recently purchased the underutilized commercial property, with plans for its demolition and the new construction of 91 new units of affordable housing. Officials are partnering with Abode Housing for the development and administration of the site.
