Permanently Affordable Housing Breaks Ground At 180 Jones Street, Tenderloin, San Francisco

Mayor London N. Breed, representatives from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, and local community leaders recently celebrated the groundbreaking for an affordable housing project at 180 Jones Street in Tenderloin, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of 70 100% affordable homes for the unhoused. Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) is the project developer. Van Meter Williams Pollack is responsible for the design concepts. Cahill Contractors is responsible for the construction.

El Paseo de Saratoga Approved by San Jose City Council

El Paseo de Saratoga has been approved by the San Jose City Council. The project would bring new density to an area defined by suburban sprawl along Santa Clara County’s western edge. Constructions will replace a portion of a strip mall with nearly a thousand new homes, offices, and a new Whole Foods grocery store at 1312 El Paseo de Saratoga and 1777 Saratoga Avenue. Sand Hill Property is the project developer.

New Renderings Revealed For Townhomes At 2850 West Bayshore Road In Midtown, Palo Alto

New renderings have been revealed for a residential project approved at 2580 West Bayshore Road in Midtown, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the development of 8 apartment building consisting of 48 residential townhomes. Plans call for the demolition of an existing office building on the site. SDG Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the residential development. SummerHill Homes applied for a Preliminary Architectural Review of the project.
