Public Comment for Affordable Housing in Point Reyes Station, Marin County

Public comment has started on repurposing a former United States Coast Guard site at 100 Commodore Webster Drive into affordable housing in Point Reyes Station, an unincorporated town in Marin County. The project will bring new life to the county-owned property next to the local population center, which includes two grocery stores, restaurants, and the West Marin Elementary School. Eden Housing and the Community Land Trust Association of West Marin are jointly responsible for the development.

SF Supervisors Vote Today on $115M Loan for Transbay Block 2 East

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote later today to provide a $115.8 million construction loan for affordable housing at Transbay Block 2 East. The proposal is expected to rise 17 stories tall and bring 184 below-market-rate rental apartments to 200 Folsom Street in the heart of the densely-developed Transbay neighborhood. Mercy Housing is the project sponsor.
