Located across the I-280 freeway from Apple Park, ‘The Rise’ will offer a more public mixed-use site with open space, shops, offices, and over two thousand homes. The futuristic proposal features design by the internationally acclaimed Rafael Viñoly Architects.
Construction has topped out and scaffolding removed for 1064 Mission Street, a six-story permanent supportive housing project in SoMa, San Francisco. The building will soon open with 256 studio apartments for adults and seniors in the city. 1064 Mission is a joint venture with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, Mercy Housing, and the Episcopal Community Services.
The City of San Francisco is considering purchasing 333 12th Street, an eight-story residential development recently built in SoMa, San Francisco. The move is symbolically significant, as 333 12th Street was the first proposal in the city to use the State Density Bonus Program, increasing its residential capacity by 35%, with 200 multi-family units. Now, the building may become part of the city’s mission to end family homelessness. The City and County of San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing would become the property owners.
