The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story modular building. Holliday Development is the project developer. David Baker Architects is responsible for the design.
The Berkeley City Council has approved plans for a six-story apartment building at 1201 San Pablo Avenue, Northwest Berkeley. Plans for the project advanced through the city’s approval process with few changes. The project will replace a vacant lot with 66 new homes. Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the design. The Miller Company is responsible for the landscape architecture.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 38-40 Nevada Street in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of two three-story single-family residences. Troy Kashanipour Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Earlier this week, Mayor London N. Breed announced that San Francisco has been awarded more than $117 million in funding from the California Department of Housing and Community (HCD) for developing three affordable housing projects in the city. The support was provided by the California Housing Accelerator Fund, which was seeded with a $1.75 billion investment from the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
