A proposal study session is upcoming for reviewing a project at 4700, San Pablo, Emeryville. The project proposal enlists the demolition of commercial industrial buildings and the construction of a new mixed-use structure. A & W Industries is the property owner. Brick is managing the design concept and construction.
An 24-story mixed-use tower has topped out and is nearly halfway wrapped with its new facade at 2016 Telegraph Avenue in Uptown, Oakland. The building’s towering facade reaches over 180 feet above the ground, and adds 230 new apartments to the fast-changing neighborhood. The 200,000 square foot mixed-use building will include a ground floor residential lobby accompanied by retail space, and three levels of above grade parking.
Permits have been filed to construct a thirteen-story mixed-use building on 550 O’Farrell Street in the Tenderloin, San Francisco. The project proposal includes demolition of the existing building except for a two-story parking garage. The garage’s existing facade is considered an important historical element of San Francisco’s Uptown Tenderloin district. Brick is managing the architecture and design of the project.
Preservation plans for the Knox- Goodrich Building at 34-36 South First Street, downtown San Jose, have been prepared. The proposed renovation includes retaining the three-story, 7900-square foot Knox-Goodrich Building while building an approximately 91,992-square foot, seven-story commercial building for office and retail uses west of, and internally connected to, the historic structure. The proposed new structure has a roof height of 86 feet, with rooftop projections reaching 99 feet. The project description is based on the Site Development Permit and Historic Preservation Permit drawings by Studio Current and Brick Inc.
Construction has reached the halfway point at 2016 Telegraph Avenue, an 18-story mixed-use tower in Uptown, Oakland. The building will soon top out at over 180 feet above the street, bringing 230 new apartments to the fast-changing neighborhood. Lane Partners is responsible for the development.
