Construction Starts on Affordable Housing in Hunters Point, San Francisco

Construction has officially started for the new affordable housing on Hunters Point Shipyards’ Blocks 52 and 54 in San Francisco. The bayside project will bring 112 multi-family units at two sites with funding from the Office of Community Infrastructure and Investment. Jonathan Rose Companies and Bayview Senior Services are jointly responsible for the project as co-developers.

New building permits have been filed for the construction of a seven-story senior housing project at 1001 Franklin Street on Cathedral Hill, San Francisco. The project will create new senior affordable housing connected with the block’s existing three buildings on St. Mark’s Square. The John Stewart Company is the project application on behalf of the property owner, Martin Luther Towner Inc.
