The San Ramon Planning Commission is scheduled to vote on plans tonight for the affordable housing project at 2453 Camino Ramon within the Bishop Ranch master plan. The proposal looks to add two hundred rental units across two structures on a narrow lot across from the City Villages by Summerhill Homes. Eden Housing is responsible for the application.
Tonight, the Cupertino Planning Commission will review several staff recommendations, including items regarding a Development Permit and an Architectural and Site Approval permit for 21267 Stevens Creek Boulevard. The site, developed by Related California has already been approved for the Westport Development Project, but revised plans would increase the size of Building 1 from 138 units to 151 units. Architects Steinburg Hart have also submitted a new ground floor plan with space allocation for the building’s amenities and retail.

A new mixed-use affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 1921-1927 West San Carlos Street in Burbank, unincorporated Santa Clara County. The project proposal includes the development of a new mixed-use project offering spaces for affordable housing and retail uses. Los Angeles-based PATH Ventures is responsible for the application. Steinberg Hart is listed as the project architect.
Westbank and Urban Community are once again considering shifting plans for an office building to housing in Downtown San Jose. New permits for the Valley Title property at 300 South First Street and 345 South Second Street have shifted from two office towers into three clustered 30-story apartment towers with over a thousand homes. However, the joint venture is not canceling permits for the office iteration. Steinberg Hart is responsible for the design.
