Tomorrow, new plans will be reviewed for an eight-story residential project at 1766 El Camino Real, located by the Millbrae BART Station in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The project will rise above the El Camino highway, bringing 311 new apartments across from the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center, various shops, and a grocery store. Carmel Partners is responsible for the application.
A new site visit for SFYIMBY shows four complete apartments and two more rising at Brooklyn Basin, Oakland. The waterfront mixed-use development is expected to create 3,700 new homes across twelve buildings alongside new shops, a grocery store, and 30 acres of landscaped open space. Oakland-based Signature Development Group is the overall project developer.
The South San Francisco Planning Commission unanimously voted in favor of a massive new residential development at 100 Produce Avenue and 124 Airport Boulevard. If approved by the city council, the project could build 480 new rental homes by the city center and Caltrain station. Hanover Company is responsible for the development.
Emeryville Planning Commission has scheduled a project study session for new construction at 6200 Shellmound Street, Emeryville. The project proposal includes the development of a new building for commercial, residential, and office use which will be a part of Emeryville Public Market. Emeryville Holdings LLC is the project applicant. TCA Architects and Hart Howerton are managing the design concept and construction.
New building permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building, part of the massive twelve-building, 3,100-unit Brooklyn Basin development along the Oakland Waterfront. Addressed at 845 Embarcadero, Parcel G will bring affordable housing, retail, and amenities across an oddly-shaped footprint. Oakland-based Signature Development Group is developing the project, with joint-financing from Signature, China-based Zarsion Holdings Group, and Reynolds & Brown.
