The Sacramento Planning Commission is scheduled to consider approval this Thursday for the Sac Bee apartments project in Midtown, Sacramento. The proposal is expected to replace the newspaper’s former headquarters at 2100 Q Street with over five hundred rental apartments. Irvine-based Shopoff Realty Investments is the developer.
The City of Vallejo has approved the plans for new housing at 5180 Sonoma Boulevard. The project will add over four hundred new homes to Solano County’s most populous city. Jackson Square Properties is the project developer.
Juno Realty Partners has resubmitted competing plans for housing at 3997 Fabian Way in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The two entitlements reflect previous plans by the developer for 292 or 350 units. The project made the news earlier this year as one of the first applications in the Bay Area to invoke the Builder’s Remedy for the 350-apartment version.
The city of Vallejo has shared plans to adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration documents for 5180 Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo, Solano County. The proposal would create over four hundred homes across eleven buildings between the boulevard and Broadway. The public review period is underway from now to November 6th, 2023. Excavation work is underway for the eight-story apartment complex for 1766 El Camino Real in Burlingame, San Mateo County. Crews have already demolished the former single-story commercial structure within walking distance of the Millbrae Train Station. Carmel Partners is the developer.
