Demolition Approved at 1801 21st Street in Sacramento

Long after new building permits were filed for the Sac Bee Townhomes project at 1801 21st Street in Sacramento, the project has been approved for development. The proposal will replace two large surface parking lots with eight multi-unit buildings for a total of 48 homes. Shopoff Realty is overseeing the redevelopment. TCA Architects is responsible for the design.

Significantly Reduced Plans for Sac Bee Headquarters Proposed, Sacramento

Dramatically reduced plans have been filed by Shopoff Realty Investments to replace the former Sacramento Bee headquarters at 2100 Q Street in Midtown Sacramento. The developer is now seeking to bring 122 townhomes and single-family homes, aiming to bring less than a quarter of the housing compared with the initial five-story proposal. The application uses Senate Bill 330 to expedite approval.
