The developer is seeking approval for both options, which could see the construction of a seven-story mid-rise complex or a 23-story tower. Signature Development Group is responsible for the application.
Updated renderings have been published for the residential masterplan at 3896 Stevens Creek Boulevard in the Meridian neighborhood of San Jose. The property, once entitled to become a commercial office campus, is now being eyed for two podium apartments with over five hundred new homes with parking for nearly eight hundred vehicles. Holland Partners is the project developer.
New building permits have been filed for the Sac Bee South Townhomes project at 1801 21st Street in Midtown Sacramento. The proposal will replace surface parking lots associated with the former headquarters of the Sacramento Bee Newspaper. Beazer Homes is responsible for the project after purchasing the site from Shopoff Realty Investments for nearly $10 million last month.

The filing comes a few months after Holland Partner Group purchased the site from Cypress Equities. Previously, the site was expected to be redeveloped with a commercial office space and a four-story fitness center.
Construction has topped out for the eight-story apartment complex rising at 1766 El Camino Real in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The future 311-unit building, named Revery, is forming part of the burgeoning high-density neighborhood across from the Millbrae Transit Station. Carmel Partners Is the project developer.
