Urban Catalyst is preparing for vertical construction on Keystone, their extended-stay hotel at 495 West San Carlos Street in San Jose by Diridon Station. The eight-story Marriott TowneSuites Hotel is the only of its type under construction in the city, responding to demand from the city’s construction industry, conferences, and concerts. Completion is expected by 2025.
A new mixed-use project has received approval for development at 147 East Santa Clara Street in downtown San Jose. The project proposal includes the construction of two buildings offering office and residential spaces. Urban Catalyst, a premier Silicon Valley real estate equity fund, is the project developer. WRNS Studios is the project architect, and GLS Architecture + Landscape is the landscape architect.
The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to review updated plans for the Icon-Echo mixed-use development in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The proposal will create apartments, offices, and retail split between two towers across from City Hall and the recently-complete MIRO Towers. Urban Catalyst is the project developer.
Crews have finished demolition at the 0.9-acre site ahead of construction at 470 West San Carlos Street. The property will soon be developed with a 167-unit assisted living facility in the Diridon Station Area Plan, by Google’s Downtown West masterplan in San Jose. Urban Catalyst is responsible for the project.
Construction is moving ahead for Paseo, a mixed-use commercial building that replaced the former Camera 12 Theater at 201 South Second Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project has already announced three tenants, with 75,000 square feet of office space still available. The project is part of the Opportunity Zone Fund I by Urban Catalyst.
