Recent permit activity has been filed with a new project profile for 425 Broadway, a proposed residential infill in San Francisco at the foot of Telegraph Hill. Increased plans were revealed for the site earlier this year, nearly doubling the apartment proposal to 74 units designed by Ian Birchall & Associates. San Jose-based Yeh’s Development is the project applicant filing through Montgomery Place LLC.
Construction has officially started for 2550 Irving Street, an affordable housing project in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The mid-rise complex aims to bring 90 units to the historically low-density neighborhood, close to the Sunset Super grocery store and a block from Golden Gate Park. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is responsible for the application.
Modified plans have been filed for the previously approved project at 300 De Haro Street, between San Francisco’s Potrero Hill and Showplace Square neighborhoods. The 11-story project application has slightly reduced the overall capacity while shifting the project to be fully affordable. DM Development is the project sponsor.
Construction has started for two affordable housing complexes rising on Transbay Block 2 in East Cut, San Francisco. While site work has been active since the start of this year, its official groundbreaking ceremony was held late last month. Once complete, the block will add 335 new apartments in the high-rise neighborhood by Rincon Hill.
New permits have been filed with a planset for 2257 and 2259 Bush Street in Lower Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The project will expand a Victorian home to bring seven units to the narrow parcel close to Geary Boulevard and Japantown. Francisco Mato 0f Architects SF is responsible for the architecture and application.
