Demolition crews have cleared a former two-story commercial building at 828 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The plans, once to become a housing infill, will create a new two-story commercial office building designed by RMW Architecture. The Mill Valley-based S. Hekemian Group is responsible for the development as the property owner.
The General Plan Referral has been submitted alongside updated renderings for 160 Freelon Street, a 100% affordable family housing project in SoMa, San Francisco. The nine-story proposal will create 85 large apartments close to Caltrain’s San Francisco Station, and the Fourth and Brannan stop opened with the new Central Subway extension. Related Companies and the San Francisco Housing Development Corp are sponsoring the development.
A project review meeting has been requested for the six-story infill at 220 9th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The plans incorporate the facade of the 1924-built structure as a historical edifice for a 62-unit addition to the neighborhood. SF-based Levy Design Partners is the project architect.
