Renderings show 30-Story Tower at 605 South 2nd Street in Downtown San Jose

Renderings have shown the 30-story tower expected to rise at 605 South 2nd Street in Downtown San Jose. The infill high rise will significantly contribute to the city skyline, as it would be just eight feet shorter than the tallest structure, MIRO. The sky-high structure will yield roughly 300,000 square feet split between residential and parking. Anderson Architects Inc. is responsible for the design.

New Renderings for SJSU’s Spartan Heights at 100 North 4th Street, Downtown San Jose

Spartan heights, the proposed twenty-three story dormitory tower at 117 North 5th Street in Downtown San Jose is making its way through the city government. This month, the city moved to rezone the lot from CG commercial general zoning to the downtown primary commercial zoning district. The dormitory tower is slated to be built one block from MIRO, the city’s current tallest structure. The developers, Republic Urban, are hoping to capture housing demand from San Jose State University.

Eterna Tower will be located on the same block as the future Downtown San Jose Bart station, making it a future-looking project in a regional movement to build more close to mass transit. Facade Nearly Complete for MIRO, Tallest Project in Downtown San Jose

San Jose’s tallest tower is looking a lot more like it’s renderings now. MIRO topped out in late July, with its facade closing in on the 28th floor for both towers. The project is addressed at 167 East Santa Clara Street, between 4th and 5th street, and directly across from the San Jose City Hall’s plaza. Once complete, the towers will add over a million square feet of new space to the city, predominantly residential with some retail and commercial space.
