Permits have been filed to construct a new five-story storage facility at 2390 Mariner Square Driver, Marina Village, overlooking the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The 72-foot tall structure will yield 110,844 square feet to the Alameda island, though it will likely also appeal to Oakland residents. Banner Real Estate Group is responsible for the development.

Permits have been filed for a new mixed-use structure at 401 Colusa Avenue in El Cerrito, Contra Costa County. The development will yield 4,739 square feet total, with 3,934 square feet for a single-family home. The remaining 804 square feet is office space.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential structure at 5728 Kemper Place in the Hyde Park section of the Boulevard development, Dublin. The location is just a nine-minute walk away from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station, which runs through San Francisco and Oakland. Dublin and Pleasanton are also invested in bus lines throughout their towns, giving transit options across the Tri-Valley. Brookfield Calwest Builders LLC is responsible for the development.
For today, we have something new. We work to share with you all of the most exciting and consequential development updates across the Bay Area during the week. However, there are many permits and other stories that fall through the cracks. They tend not to be significant enough or do not come with enough details to merit a full article. We, of course, do not take your attention for granted. However, in sum, all these permits add up to a significant contribution to the built environment of the Bay Area, and we would hate to miss them.
