Construction has topped out for the Berkeley City College expansion at 2118 Milvia Street in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The six-story structure will bring new educational facilities for the public community college, close to their current primary building at 2050 Center Street. Permits have been filed to add a four-story apartment complex at 720 Masonic Avenue, North of the Panhandle in San Francisco. The application comes a year and a half after a three-alarm fire destroyed the former three-story apartments. Xie Associates is responsible for the application.
Preliminary permits have been filed to potentially add housing at 3100 College Avenue in the Elmwood neighborhood of Berkeley. The initial filing is seeking feedback from city staff for the residential project with stacker parking. Sausalito-based architect Benjamin Jones is listed as the project applicant.
Formal permits have been filed for a residential subdivision at 6821 Silver Creek Road in southern San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will continue the city’s suburban sprawl, covering the open space towards Morgan Hill. Hai Huynh of Silver Creek Valley Estates LLC and H&L Realty is listed as the project sponsor.
Construction has wrapped up with retail spaces now occupied at 433 Main Street in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County. The project has replaced a long-vacant parcel at a highly visible corner lot in the oceanside town with two three-story structures. Anthony Uccelli is the project developer working for property owner Ozella Cardoni.
