The proposal would replace a surface parking lot with 75 new apartments by Van Ness Avenue and City Hall. While an applicant is not listed, a State Government Department owns the property.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to consider plans for the adaptive reuse of 1526 Powell Street in San Francisco tomorrow. The project developer, JS Sullivan, has proposed to retain the John Delucchi Sheet Metal building facade for the entrance of the six-story apartment. City staff are recommending the commission indefinitely delay a vote for the project.

New plans have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 20 Sunnyside Avenue in Mill Valley, Marin County. The relatively dense infill will retain the existing two-story offices while adding 12 units close to the central Depot Plaza. The city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to meet tonight.
