Permits have been filed for a two-story commercial office building at 1840 Oakdale Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project will rise on a vacant parcel overlooking the Caltrain train tracks and the city’s recently modernized Southeast Water Treatment Plant. RKD Consulting is responsible for the application and design.
Plans have been approved for La Maravilla, a nine-story permanent supportive housing complex at 1979 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. Construction is now set to start early next year on the first of three phases on the large parcel overlooking the 16th Street BART Station. Mission Economic Development Agency and Mission Housing Development Corporation are jointly responsible for the project.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a backyard duplex at 1535 Milvia Street in North Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal looks to replace a storage shed with two new homes two blocks away from Shattuck Avenue. John Newton Design & Development is listed as the project applicant.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustments Board is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for a seven-story apartment complex at 2372 Ellsworth Street in Southside, Berkeley. The project will create 49 units on the corner lot, near UC Berkeley and Telegraph Avenue. Studio KDA is the project applicant and architect.
New housing has been proposed for 3070 Brook Street in the Broadway Valdez neighborhood of Oakland. The project is looking to add four modular accessory dwelling units to a vacant lot. San Francisco-based PermitFlow is listed as the project applicant.
