The environmental review process has started for the potential mixed-use 41-story tower at 530 Sansome Street in San Francisco’s Financial District. The city’s planning department has issued the notice of preparation for the Environmental Impact Report, accepting public comment to inform the scope of the report. The project will include offices, a 200-key hotel, and a four-story replacement fire station across from the Transamerica Pyramid. Related and the City are jointly responsible for the project in a public-private partnership.

Public review is being requested for the potential redevelopment of 1921-1927 West San Carlos Street in Burbank, unincorporated Santa Clara County. The proposal includes the annexation of the roughly half-acre property to become part of the City of San Jose while constructing nearly a hundred units of affordable housing. Los Angeles-based PATH Ventures is responsible for the application.

Preliminary permits have been resubmitted for Stoney Creek East and West, a two-property residential proposal at 14465 Monterey Road and 360 West Middle Avenue in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County. The latest application no longer references the builder’s remedy while pursuing a 248-unit development with a range of single-family homes and apartments. Morgan Hill-based Glenrock Builders is responsible for the project.
