The environmental review process has concluded for the potential redevelopment of the California College of the Arts campus in Rockridge, Oakland. The proposal will retain two of the twelve historic buildings and create over five hundred apartments across two buildings. Emerald Fund and Equity Community Builders are the project sponsors.
New details have surfaced for the proposed 14-story infill at 2812 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. A preliminary plan-set drafted by the project architect, oWow, has been published by the city, putting the full power of Assembly Bill 1287 on display. Philip Lesser is responsible for the application and filing through the San Mateo-based Lesser Enterprises LLC.
Development permits have been approved for the five-story affordable infill proposed at 4655 Steele Street in Oakland, Alameda County. The approval comes just under a year after plans for the site first surfaced with a pre-application last year. Eagle Environmental Construction is the project sponsor.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is scheduled to review plans for the seven-story residential infill at 2300 Ellsworth Street in Southside, Berkeley. The project will replace twelve apartments with 69 new residences, including ten affordable units. Riaz Capital is responsible for the application.
Updated permits have been filed for the Wysteria Residences project on a vacant corner lot at 1000 Broadway in San Francisco’s affluent Russian Hill neighborhood. The application revives plans from nearly two decades ago to add two single-family homes and a duplex. Keith Gapusan of P3 Capital Partners is responsible for the project.
