Updated designs have been published for a six-story mixed-use project at 3260 26th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal will replace a single-story automobile repair shop with 37 new homes above ground-level retail. Kerman Morris Architects is managing the design.
New renderings have been published for the residential development at 3403 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. Located by the retail-rich Broadway thoroughfare and Pill Hill neighborhood, the project will replace surface parking and a single-story office building with 73 new homes and ground-floor retail. oWOW is the owner, developer, and project architect.
Construction work has finished for the supportive housing development at 833 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Residents have already started to move into the 145 new units, accompanied by amenities, a ground-floor flex space, and support offices. The project is a partnership between Mercy Housing, Tipping Point Community, and the San Francisco Accelerator Fund.
New permits have been filed with expanded plans for the mixed-use tower at 1510 Webster Street, Downtown Oakland. While the city had original approved plans for a 182-unit tower, the developer is now to build 222 new residences, of which 35 will be affordable. oWOW is responsible for the development and design.
The first cross-laminated timber building in San Francisco is nearly complete. 1 De Haro Street in SoMa, San Francisco, is a commercial building for offices and light industrial work. Its curtain wall facade is fully sealed up, though work remains for interiors and landscaping. SKS Partners is sponsoring the development, working in partnership with the property’s longtime owner.
