The San Francisco Planning Department has approved CEQA streamlining for a new manufacturing and laboratory building at 2800 3rd Street in Dogpatch, San Francisco. The project will replace a low-density block with light industrial and laboratory space. New York-based Madison Capital is responsible for the project as the property owner.
New building permits have been filed by Bright Street Inc for 2065 Kittredge Street, an eight-story residential proposal in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The applications are to demolition two of the three buildings required for the 188-unit development. Chicago-based CA Ventures is responsible as the building owner.
Webcor has announced the groundbreaking for Tidal House, a 22-story residential tower on San Francisco’s artificial Treasure Island. The project will build 250 new rental units with some townhouse-style residences along the sidewalk at Parcel C2.4. The new tower will be a portion of the 8,000-unit master plan by the Treasure Island Community Development joint venture.
Assemblymember Marc Berman has secured $8 million from the state for 965 Weeks Street, a multi-structure affordable housing development in East Palo Alto, San Mateo County. The project would create 136 units on undeveloped city-owned land. MidPen Housing and EPACANDO are joint developers.
Updated plans for 2065 Kittredge Street are up for public review by the Berkeley Design Review Committee. The eight-story project would replace three low-rise commercial buildings with an off-campus student housing building in the heart of Downtown Berkeley. CA Ventures, an international development firm based in Chicago, is responsible for the application.
