The proposal, dubbed the Iron Horse Village, would replace commercial buildings with low-density detached and attached housing. Nearon Enterprises, an investment company, based in Walnut Creek, is listed as the property owner. Lennar is the project developer.

The project proposal includes the development of a landscaped residential community of three-story townhome-style condominiums with a few affordable housing units. Plans call for the retention of the exisiting development on the site. The exisiting development is not a part of the proposed project. City Ventures is the project applicant. WHA Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
SummerHill Homes is planning to break ground next week on City Village, an expansive residential development in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. This follows the recent announcement that Sunset Development Company has officially sold the 31-acre parcel at 2400 Camino Ramon to SummerHill Homes, as Sunset is working on its own mixed-use redevelopment of the successful Bishop Ranch office park.
