Plans have been approved for the six-story residential infill at 802 South 1st Street during the San Jose Planning Director Hearing. The plans will create 166 new apartments and retail close to Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. Maracor Development is the project developer.
A new affordable housing project has been approved for development at 2956 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story building offering 100 % affordable housing units. TPC CS Holdings LLC is the property owner. Pacific West Communities Inc is the project applicant. AO Architects is responsible for the designs.
Today’s Santa Clara Development Review Hearing will consider plans for affordable housing at 80 Saratoga Way. City staff is recommending the board approve the project as consistent with Senate Bill 35 and the State Density Bonus Law. If approved, the project could add 200 new homes to the Santa Clara County housing market.
Development permits have been approved for 10500 International Boulevard, a five-story affordable housing project by the southern border of Oakland, Alameda County. The project, named Hestia, will create 210 affordable homes and is the final phase of a three-phase development by AMG & Associates.
Plans to add more housing could soon be seen fulfilled in Bay Fair in San Leandro. The project proposal includes the development of a housing project at multiple addresses: 15693, 15739 and 15741 East 14th Street. Plans call for the transformation of a shopping center parking lot into a 487-unit apartment complex. Encino and AMG & Associates are the project developers. The development team includes Orange and AO Architects.
