Construction has topped out on the eight-story housing complex at 420 Mendocino Avenue in Downtown Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. Related California started construction in 2023 after securing a $61.4 million construction financing loan with East West Bank, Preferred Bank, and RED Housing Fund. Now that the structure has topped out, crews are on schedule for the projected opening in Spring 2025.
San Francisco University High School Project has reached structural completion at 3150 California Street, Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of new additions to the San Francisco University High School project in the form of a three-story structure centered with a central gym, science classrooms, and outdoor space. Truebeck Construction, is the general contractor. Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects is responsible for the designs.
New aerial renderings have been published alongside a development agreement for the proposed Stonestown Mall redevelopment in San Francisco. Brookfield Properties is responsible for the application, which would replace the surface parking surrounding the shopping center into a relatively dense mixed-use neighborhood. The project will be reviewed by the city’s Planning Commission tomorrow.
New permits have been filed for the massive suburban project on a large swath of land off Highway 4 in Discovery Bay, east Contra Costa County. The former Cecchini Ranch was sold 2018 to the Henghou Group for $11.5 million. The latest permits come after initial plans filed in 2021 to reshape over a thousand acres of agricultural land with over two thousand homes.
The City of Berkeley has published the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the 26-story proposed residential tower at 2128 Oxford Street. The development is one of a few proposals in Berkeley’s pipeline that will reshape the city skyline. Chicago-based Core Spaces is the project developer.
