New renderings have been revealed for City Village, a 404-unit residential development at 2400-2440 Camino Ramon in San Ramon’s Bishop Ranch office park. SummerHill Homes will be building the project. Speaking with SFYIMBY earlier this year, President and CEO Robert Freed shared details about City Village and the firm. Construction could start as early as 2022.
Applications were submitted seeking the approval of constructing a new hotel at 530 Sansome Street in Financial District, San Francisco. An alternate proposal has been submitted that suggests building housing instead of the hotel. Related California is the project developer. The project is designed by the San Francisco office of architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM).
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a single-family residence at 16227 Maya Way, Los Gatos in Santa Clara County. The project proposal includes the construction of a two-story residence with a detached garage. The Planning Commission will review the modifications of the facade and previously approved interior designs. A special permit for the detached garage is filed. D-Scheme Studio is managing the design concepts and construction of the house.
San Jose’s Design Review Committee is scheduled to review the mixed-use Eterna Tower high-rise proposal for 17 East Santa Clara Street in Downtown San Jose. The project has doubled in size after SFYIMBY’s last coverage in September 2020. The plan now includes 200 rooms on top of ground-floor retail. San Francisco-based ROYGBIV Real Estate Development is responsible for the project as the property owner.
A recent site visit shows facade installation is all but done for the three office buildings at 60 and 134 East Brokaw Road and along Bering Road in North San Jose. The three buildings comprise phase two of the vehicle-oriented Brokaw Road offices project, a multi-million square foot addition by the San Jose international airport. Peery-Arrillaga is the project owner and developer.
