Meeting Tonight For Housing at Bishop Ranch 8, San Ramon

The San Ramon Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tonight for housing at 3000-5000 Executive Parkway within the Bishop Ranch campus in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The project will divide the Bishop Ranch 8 parcel, also known as Canopy, into two separate developments, one for single-family housing and the other for an affordable apartment complex. Alexander Properties Company is responsible for the application, working with Eden Housing for the affordable component.

A single-family home at 811 Cedar Street in Berkeley is to be demolished and reconstructed in to a mixed-use office and residential space. The latest documents show a modified design scheme by SCB, as well as a minor increase in unit count since the project was revived by the property owner last year. Construction has officially started for the six-story affordable housing complex at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Northwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The groundbreaking ceremony was held by the Berkeley Unified School District in partnership with the non-profit developers Abode Communities and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates. Once complete, the project will offer over a hundred units for educators in the city.
