New renderings have been revealed for 685 9th Street, a residential infill with some affordable housing in Downtown Oakland. The project will create 117 new homes along with a public mural installation. Levy Design Partners is the project architect, and Riaz Capital is the owner.
New permits have been filed for a three-story, three-unit infill at 1323 Democracy Alley, located between D and E Street in Mansion Flats, Sacramento. The project will replace the backyard of 1322 D Street. Urban Capital, a local developer, is listed as the project applicant.
Construction is expected to begin in April on affordable housing at 78 Haight Street in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. The General Plan Referral, filed with the city this week, explains that the start date is imposed by the project’s construction financing package. The project, dubbed Parcel U, has been in the works since 2019 by the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation.
Permits have been approved for the five-story mixed-use proposal at 330 12th Street in the neighborhood of Alkali Flat, Sacramento. The Alkali Flat North project will create 24 units on top of ground-floor retail. McGhie Investments LLC is the property owner, with 39th Street Properties sponsoring the application.
Development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a residential project at 2515 Folsom Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story apartment building. Plans call for the demolition of a two-story single-family dwelling on the site. Shatara Architecture Inc is responsible for the design concepts.
