The Pappas Duckhorn Development proposed at 3540 Duckhorn Drive in North Sacramento would subdivide several open lots into a large-scale residential development. Plans have been filed for a small office-to-housing conversion at 1947 Divisadero Street in Lower Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The application will create four apartments on the top two floors of the 88-year-old three-story structure. MC Construction LLC is listed as the property owner.
Preliminary permits have been filed for an affordable housing development at 250 Laguna Honda Boulevard in Forest Hill, San Francisco. The proposal looks to create an eight-story apartment complex with 172 rental units on the parcel currently occupied by a mid-century modern church. Mission Housing Development Corporation is the project sponsor.
Resources for Community Development has opened a six-story and 87-unit project located at 2001 Ashby Avenue in South Berkeley. The project, named after Councilwoman Maudelle Miller Shirek, was first brought in 2021, with ground-breaking occurring in 2022. Delays caused the building to overshoot its projected opening date in 2024, but the project has now made it to completion, and is moving in tenants.
New plans have been published alongside a project review meeting request for the adaptive reuse of the 102-year-old Alexandria Theater at 5400 Geary Boulevard in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The eight-story proposal looks to expand the long-closed theater to produce 83 units with ground-floor retail. TimeSpace Group is responsible for the application.
