Proposed Development Could Bring 275 Homes to North Sacramento

The Pappas Duckhorn Development proposed at 3540 Duckhorn Drive in North Sacramento would subdivide several open lots into a large-scale residential development. The project is named after Pappas Investments, the site developer. Applications for the development were submitted earlier this month but are still awaiting the payment of processing fees.

New Apartment Building Opens at 2001 Ashby Avenue in Berkeley

Resources for Community Development has opened a six-story and 87-unit project located at 2001 Ashby Avenue in South Berkeley. The project, named after Councilwoman Maudelle Miller Shirek, was first brought in 2021, with ground-breaking occurring in 2022. Delays caused the building to overshoot its projected opening date in 2024, but the project has now made it to completion, and is moving in tenants.
