A new Hyatt hotel project has been proposed at 3750 North Laughlin Road in Santa Rosa. The project proposal includes the development of an 85-foot tall hotel with guest amenities, a rooftop restaurant, and onsite parking.  The project seeks a use permit, design review approval, an amendment to the Airport Industrial Area Specific Plan, and a development agreement. Landmark Hotels LLC is the project applicant.

New Grocery Store Up for Approval at 180 El Camino Real, South San Francisco

A proposal will be heard by the City of South San Francisco for the replacement Safeway grocery store at 180 El Camino Real in South San Francisco in San Mateo County. Tomorrow’s meeting will occur over half a decade after the multi-tenant 180 El Camino strip mall was closed in preparation for a transit-oriented mixed-use development that hasn’t materialized. Now, the property has been purchased by SteelWave, and plans are moving ahead.

Design Review Occurring Today For 247-295 Commercial Street, Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale Planning Commission will be conducting a study session to review a proposal for two new hotel buildings at 247-295 Commercial Street, Sunnyvale. The project proposal consists of the construction of two hotels with shared underground parking. The project requires a Tentative Map to allow a site subdivision and merger. Lowney Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction. One Union Studio is the interior designer.
