The project, within Santa Clara County, will replace an existing surface parking lot and single-story structure. The Sobrato Organization is the property owner responsible for the application.
Demolition permits have been filed for five structures ahead of construction for 2929 Broadway on Pill Hill, Oakland. The 0.93-acre site will be replaced with a seven-story apartment complex to be named Ambrose. Martin Group is the project developer, with development permits approved just over a month ago.
Downsized entitlement permits have been filed for the mixed-use infill in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project will replace a former Fry’s building with 74 new townhomes at 3200 Park Boulevard and new R&D office space at 340 Portage Avenue by the California Avenue Caltrain station. The Sobrato Organization is the project developer.
A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 421 Cypress Avenue in South San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new mixed-use building offering spaces for residences, a restaurant, and onsite parking. Studio T Square is responsible for the design concepts. The Guzzardo Partnership Inc is the landscape architect.
A prominent San Mateo location by the intersection of Highway 92 and US 101 could see the construction of a five-story residential complex. The project at 1885 South Norfolk Street would create 321 new rental homes with a two-story arch connecting the public to a new landscaped waterfront park on Seal Slough, across from San Mateo County’s Foster City. The project is scheduled to be reviewed by the City of San Mateo Planning Commission during a special public meeting tonight at 5:30 PM.
