El Paseo de Saratoga Approved by San Jose City Council

El Paseo de Saratoga has been approved by the San Jose City Council. The project would bring new density to an area defined by suburban sprawl along Santa Clara County’s western edge. Constructions will replace a portion of a strip mall with nearly a thousand new homes, offices, and a new Whole Foods grocery store at 1312 El Paseo de Saratoga and 1777 Saratoga Avenue. Sand Hill Property is the project developer.

Meeting Scheduled For 460 24th Street At Northgate-Waverly, Oakland

A draft environment impact report (DEIR) was published for a new mixed-use complex at 460 24th Street in Northgate-Waverly in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use complex offering office and retail spaces on two sites. Plans call for the demolition of an existing building along with partial demolition of four other existing structures. Some of the existing brick facades will be integrated into future retail. Signature Development Group (SDG) is responsible for the project. Flynn Architecture is responsible for the design, and the Guzzardo Partnership is the landscape architect.

A new residential development is now open and available on the market at 563 Pilgrim Drive in Foster City. The project proposal includes the construction of a three-story residential community developed with 22 apartments and 70 townhomes with open and onsite parking space. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts. SummerHill Homes is the project developer. The Guzzardo Partnership is the landscape architect.
