New building permits have been filed for the five-story apartment complex dubbed 16 & V in Richmond Grove, Sacramento. The proposal will create 60 new homes on a currently vacant lot at 2131 16th Street in Richmond Grove, Sacramento.
South San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a six-story R&D campus at Terminal 101 Court in South City, San Mateo County. The proposal will replace a surface parking lot next to the Golden Gate Produce Terminal, close to Freeway 101, and near Southline. Steelwave is the developer after buying the site in 2022 for $85 million.
Plans have been approved for the six-story apartment complex at 11 El Camino Real in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The proposal aims to replace a CVS Pharmacy and surface parking with 242 apartments. Palo Alto-based Summerhill is the project developer.
A ribbon cutting ceremony held earlier this week marked the grand opening of a supportive housing project at 2118 Sacramento Street in Vallejo. The project proposal includes the construction of modular homes offering 75 units of 100% permanent supportive housing to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Eden Housing is the project developer, in partnership with James E. Roberts-Obayashi Corp.
The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans for the eight-story residential infill at 2480 Bancroft Way in Southside, Berkeley. The project, named ‘The Edge,’ will create 28 large apartments directly across from the UC Berkeley campus, designed to meet the city’s high demand for student living. Ruegg & Ellsworth is responsible for the project as the building owner.
