New details have been published for the 430 Broadway parcel in Oakland’s waterfront neighborhood, Jack London Square. The development is a joint venture with East Bay Asian Local Development Company and Related California to build nearly two hundred affordable units. The property is owned by Alameda County.
Preliminary permits have been submitted for a five-story affordable housing complex at 3073 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The proposal would replace an empty lot and two structures, including the Ghost Ship Warehouse, the site of a horrific fatal fire in 2016. Local developer Unity Council hopes to bring new low-income housing to the corner lot.
A new office project has been proposed for development at 620 3rd Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project proposal includes a three-story addition to an existing two-story building to be used as an office. Reuben, Junius & Rose LLP is listed as the project applicant. Heller Manus Architects is responsible for the designs.
Updated renderings have been published alongside the final design review meeting for 2587 Telegraph Avenue in Southside, Berkeley. The proposal will replace a two-story retail structure with an eight-story apartment complex, adding 52 apartments above retail one block from People’s Park. Gilbane Development Company is the project developer.
The project review meeting has been filed for a residential infill project at 37 Pope Street in Crocker-Amazon, San Francisco. The initial details for the proposal consider using Senate Bill 9 to split the existing lot and replace a garage with a three-unit apartment complex.
