The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to consider plans for the adaptive reuse of 1526 Powell Street in San Francisco tomorrow. The project developer, JS Sullivan, has proposed to retain the John Delucchi Sheet Metal building facade for the entrance of the six-story apartment. City staff are recommending the commission indefinitely delay a vote for the project.
New permits have been filed seeking the approval of a housing project proposed at 3311 Broadway in Oak Park, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building offering housing.
Preliminary plans have been filed for a seven-story apartment complex to rise at 762 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The application invokes the Builder’s Remedy to expedite approval and increase the capacity to nearly two hundred units. Hengehold Trucks is the property owner, and Acclaim Companies is the developer.
New plans have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 20 Sunnyside Avenue in Mill Valley, Marin County. The relatively dense infill will retain the existing two-story offices while adding 12 units close to the central Depot Plaza. The city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to meet tonight.
Renovation has been proposed for an existing hotel at 8400 Edes Avenue in Coliseum Industrial, Oakland. The project proposal includes the renovation of a Radisson Hotel to offer affordable housing along with onsite supportive services and manager units. Oakland Alameda Hotels LLC is the property owner. Banta Design is responsible for the designs.
