2233 Calle Del Mundo Tops Out, Demolition Complete For Two Buildings in Tasman East, Santa Clara

New aerial imagery shows construction has topped out for the first residential structure in the Tasman East Specific Plan, Santa Clara. Demolition has also finished on two more substantial sites. Tasman East is a multi-developer multi-structure mixed-use masterplan with plans to build as many as 4,500 new residential units with newly-laid streets, over a hundred thousand square feet of retail, a grocery store, school, open space, and affordable housing.

Permits Filed For Townhomes Proposed At 5976 Telegraph Avenue In Oakland

Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project proposed at 5976 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of four townhomes. Plans call for the demolition of an existing Wilco Supply building on the site. Branagh Land, Inc is the project applicant. Hunt Hale Jones Architects is responsible for the design concepts. Gates & Associates is the landscape architect.

New photographs show that portions of the now-closed Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Club have been demolished as part of the Related Santa Clara masterplan. Related Santa Clara is an $8 billion proposal to dramatically redevelop the former golf course with new offices, housing, shops, hotels, a 30-acre public park, and more. Related Companies and the City of Santa Clara as part of a joint venture, with Foster + Partners as the design architect.

New renderings have been published by Studio Gang for Terraine, an 18-story mass timber tower at 201 West Julian Street in Downtown San Jose. The proposal would create new rental housing across from Arbor, the half a million-square-foot office building Jeanne Gang’s firm is also designing. Terrascape, Westbank, and Gary Dillabough of Urban Community are responsible for the development.

Meeting Held Tomorrow To Review a Residential Project At 1320 Washington Street, Nob Hill, San Francisco

Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 1320 Washington Street in Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story building with a basement. Plans call for the demolition of an existing two-story commercial public parking garage. Handel Architects is responsible for the design concepts.

New renderings have been revealed for a 41-story proposal at One Oak in San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood. The imagery and new details come after an application this summer was filed to request an entitlement revision and increase the dwelling unit count from 319 to 453 units. Now, planning documents suggest the project could create 465 dwelling units. Build Inc. is responsible for the application.

Two Ziggurat-like office buildings will soon rise with design by Bjarke Ingels Group, an internationally renowned architecture firm founded in Denmark. Google has tapped Sares Regis as development manager.

New building permits have been filed to construct over 200 apartments at 4601 10th Avenue and 3441 Stockton Boulevard, just south of the billion-dollar Aggie Square proposal in Sacramento. The construction would line the Stockton Boulevard thoroughfare at the neighborhood border of Tahoe Park and Oak Park. Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects is responsible for the design.
