Notice of Exemption Filed for 100-Unit Affordable Housing Project in Redwood City

A new affordable housing development was approved at 920 Shasta Street in Redwood City. The project is linked to the development of a six-story commercial office building at 901 El Camino Real. In the office building application, developers agreed to donate the property to Abode communities as part of a plan to meet the city’s low-income housing requirements for new development. Both the office building and affordable housing complex were approved in the same meeting before the city council last month.

New Building Permits Filed for 1721 15th Street in Mission Dolores, San Francisco

Demolition and new building permits have been filed for the six-story proposal to rise at 1721 15th Street in Mission Dolores, San Francisco. The development is expected to add 52 dwelling units to a quarter-acre lot between Guerrero Street and Valencia Street. Toboni Group is now the property owner and the project applicant.

Planning permits have been filed for a small residential infill project at 6136 Ventura Street in the Brentwood neighborhood of, Sacramento. The proposal looks to add three new units of housing to the small lot. Ujagar Family Trust is listed as the property owner.

Detailed plans have been revealed for the 17-story proposal at 700 Irwin Street in San Rafael, Marin County. The development, dubbed Boat Haus, aims to bring two hundred homes to the creekside property with the city’s potential tallest building. Urban Pacific Development is responsible for the application.

New Plans Summited to San Ramon Architectural Review Board for The Orchards Development Project

The Sunset Development Company has submitted a new layout and design plans for The Orchards Development Project, formally called Chevron Park in San Ramon. Initial Proposals for redeveloping the site were first brought in 2023, but the new plans are modified and more detailed. Plans include layouts for three districts as part of the development area along Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon.

Permits have been resubmitted for a residential infill at 430 Green Street in North Beach, San Francisco. The latest application comes a week after the 2023-filed plans were withdrawn from the city’s planning review process. Design Review Application Filed for West Midway Project in Alameda

The West Midway Development took a step forward earlier this week when new plansets were submitted for design review in Area A of the project. The original development plan for the Alameda Point neighborhood was approved in June of 2023. Brookfield Properties has now brought more specific plans for the development of 284 units on the 12.4-acre site. The designs by KTGY Architecture + Planning and Woodly Architecture Group will include a combination of Duets, Townhomes, and Condominiums.
