The City of San Rafael has published the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Northgate Mall redevelopment. This marks a significant step for the Marin County developer to move forward while receiving community feedback. If built, the plan would add over a thousand homes to the underperforming mall, though the document shares that construction could last over a decade.
The City of Santa Clara has approved the 21-story residential development at 5185 Lafayette Street in Tasman East, Santa Clara. The proposal will bring nearly two hundred condominiums in the burgeoning high-rise neighborhood close to Levi’s Stadium. San Francisco-based Ensemble Investments is the project developer.
New plans have been revealed for a 17-story residential tower at 826 North Winchester Boulevard in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Renderings revealed by the Bay Area News Group show two towers rising from the same podium and connected with a curving skybridge. San Jose-based VCI Company is responsible for the proposal.
New entitlement permits have been filed to construct several hundred apartments at 2433 Mariner Square Drive in Alameda, Alameda County. The plan would replace low-slung commercial buildings with an eight-story infill and provide future residents with views of Jack London Square and Downtown Oakland. The Martin Group is the project developer.
