Brookfield Properties has released new renderings for the $2 billion master plan to redevelop the surface parking of the Stonestown Galleria mall on the west side of San Francisco. The new illustrations compare current conditions at the mall with the proposal. The development would transform the retail center into a vibrant town center and neighborhood destination with housing and open space.
New details have been published for the seven-story mixed-use structure for 3801 Telegraph Avenue in Mosswood, Oakland. The project would replace a vacant single-story structure with 158 new homes within walking distance from BART. Riaz Capital is the project developer.
Initial plans for a 284-unit apartment complex at 130 Market Place in a vacant portion of a shopping center have been nixed in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. After receiving an onslaught of community pushback, the centrally-located proposal, nearby City Hall, and public library will now create just 40 single-family units and four junior ADUs. TRC Retail, the shopping center owner, is responsible for the application.
New permits have been filed for the four-story affordable housing project at 525 East Charleston Road in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project will create 50 rental units with services to offer special needs housing. Eden Housing is responsible for the project applicant.
KTGY has announced the grand opening of Nine88, a mixed-use apartment complex at 988 El Camino Real in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The building has 172 new homes, ground-level retail, and views of the city’s iconic Sign Hil. SummerHill Apartment Communities is the project developer.
