Gordon Commercial Real Estate Services, one of the city’s largest property owners, is responsible for the application.
Demolition permits have been filed for the two-story apartment building at 2435 Haste Street in Southside, Berkeley. Once removed, there are plans to build an eight-story infill with three dozen homes. Kenneth Ent is listed as the property owner.

The new documents allow the public to share their thoughts with the city about replacing the existing single-story commercial structure with over a hundred homes.
