The project will redevelop a 22-acre plot of undeveloped land with over a thousand residential units, including apartments, townhomes, and affordable housing. Hanover Company is the project developer.

The plan is the latest in a series to replace low-slung offices with housing in the South Bay. Once complete, the proposal expects to create 110 dwelling units.
Two new preliminary applications have been filed to construct housing on the former Fry’s Electronics box store site at 550 East Brokaw Road in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. The applications show a shift in focus from the developers, who, as early as January this year, went to the Planning Commission to review their plan for nearly two million square feet of office space.
New leasing activity has come for Bay West Development’s 550 East Brokaw Road property in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Supermicro Computer, a San Jose-based information manufacturing firm, has signed a new lease for just over 124,000 square feet. Bay West has yet to reply to a request for comment.
