New affordable housing has officially opened at 1178 Sonora Court in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The seven-story apartment complex, dubbed Ira D. Hall Square, will add nearly two hundred apartments across from the Lawrence Caltrain Station. MidPen Housing is the project sponsor.
Construction has officially started for La Bella, an affordable housing complex at 1020 Terra Bella Avenue in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The project is looking to add over a hundred units of supportive housing. Alta Housing is the project developer.
The environmental review process is beginning for the redevelopment of a 38-acre business park into nearly 800 dwelling units in Milpitas, Santa Clara County. The project, dubbed Murphy Village, is a master plan with a mix of detached homes, townhouses, and an apartment complex. Toll Brothers is the project sponsor.
A new affordable housing project broke ground last month at 1397 California Circle in Milpitas. This event marks initial physical progress on a major project led by Waterford Property Co., Pacific Housing, and C&C Development. Once completed, the project is expected to add 75 new units of affordable housing to the Silicon Valley city.
Exterior work is nearly complete on the eight-story affordable housing block at 950 West Julian Street in The Alameda, an historic district in San Jose. The complex, named the View at Julian Apartments, will soon add three hundred units to the bustling neighborhood just west of Downtown San Jose. Jemcor Development Partners and Pacific Housing are jointly responsible for the project.
