Meeting Scheduled for New Housing Development at 3315 Sierra Road, San Jose

The San Jose Planning Commission will hold a public hearing this evening for the proposed redevelopment of a 2.71-acre site located at 3315 Sierra Road. The plan, brought by Robson Homes, calls for the demolition of four existing warehouse facilities, one single-family home, and four accessory buildings, to be replaced with 25 new single-family homes. RHA Architects, Civil Engineering Associates, and Design Focus landscape architects will combine their efforts for the new project.

Meeting Scheduled for Modifications to Westport Development in Cupertino

Tonight, the Cupertino Planning Commission will review several staff recommendations, including items regarding a Development Permit and an Architectural and Site Approval permit for 21267 Stevens Creek Boulevard. The site, developed by Related California has already been approved for the Westport Development Project, but revised plans would increase the size of Building 1 from 138 units to 151 units. Architects Steinburg Hart have also submitted a new ground floor plan with space allocation for the building’s amenities and retail.

Menlo Park Opens Three Downtown Parking Plazas to Affordable Housing

The City of Menlo Park has opened up applications for the development of three large parking plazas in Downtown Menlo Park. The city plans to build a minimum of 345 units of affordable housing spread across the three sites but has not restricted the addition of more units. The program plans to integrate affordable housing options into the high-resource downtown area.
