The development will replace several baseball fields with over a hundred units across several dozen buildings. Mana Investments is responsible for the application, filing through Mana Camden Fund, LLC.
Planning permits have been filed for a six-story public garage at 375 Hamilton Avenue in Downtown Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The city-led project will replace a surface parking lot with additional spaces and designate a portion of the property for a potential affordable housing development. Hayes Group Architects is responsible for the design.
Planning approval has been upheld for a seven-story apartment complex at 940 Willow Street in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood. Earlier this week, the San Jose Planning Commission rejected an appeal of the approved Builder’s Remedy-assisted development, which seeks to add 126 apartments near the intersection of Willow Street and Lincoln Avenue. Redco Development is responsible for the application.
New documents show plans for the proposed project at 501 South Almaden Avenue in San Jose. The plans indicate a significant scale-up from earlier proposals, raising the total number of units from 53 to 99. The project’s developer, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates, will be using Senate Bill 35 as a means of expediting the higher-density project.
The City of Mountain View has granted a CEQA Exemption for the eight-story proposal at 490 East Middlefield Road in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The project was determined to meet the criteria for the streamlined review through the California Environmental Quality Act via Assembly Bill 130. Jeff Stone of Diamond Construction Inc is listed as the project applicant, filed through WTA Middlefield LLC.
