Preliminary plans have been filed for a six-story residential complex at 910 Webster Street in the University South neighborhood of Palo Alto. The project is looking to replace an existing low-slung apartment complex with 70 apartments, including some affordable units. Carrasco & Associates is responsible for the application, filing on behalf of the property owner, Cloverleaf Corporation.

Housing Development Approved for 315 Las Animas Avenue in Gilroy

Architectural and Site Review Permits have been approved for a new development at 315 Las Animas Avenue in Gilroy. The project, entitled Park 315, is an ambitious plan to add 530 new units to the site. The listed owner, Gandolfi Investments, has used the ‘Builders Remedy’ application to justify the scale of the project, and approximately 106 of the units are to be designated for low-income housing.

Construction Permits Issued for a Portion of the CityView Plaza Project in San Jose

Last week, construction permits were issued for initial work on the 185 Park Avenue parcel at CityView Plaza in San Jose. The permit will allow construction to begin on the eight-story structure, consisting of ground-floor retail and a multi-story parking garage. SF YIMBY initially reported on initial site demolitions and preparations in August of 2025, and the new approval marks steady progress for the project.

Environmental Review Published For Gilroy Civic Center Master Plan

The Environmental Impact Report has been published for a plan to reimagine the Civic Center masterplan in Gilroy, Santa Clara County. The plans would replace the existing city hall and several other structures to produce a cohesive campus for the municipal government. ELS Architecture and Urban Design is responsible for drafting the master plan, with SWA working as the landscape architect.
