Recent permit activity has renewed focus on Empire Lumber’s mixed-use project for 1260 East Santa Clara Street in Five Wounds, San Jose. The proposal is to create a commercial area capped by over three hundred apartments, near the future 28th Street Little Portugal BART Station. Pacific States Industries Development is responsible for the proposal as project client.
New construction permits have been filed for a multi-family residential development at 123 West Reed Street in Downtown San Jose. The project will rise just two floors from the currently vacant lot to add three units to the city’s housing market. Visionaire Homes LLC is responsible for the development.
The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to decide on an appeal later today of The Mark, a 23-story student-oriented project to be built at 475 South 4th Street in Downtown San Jose. A preliminary application has been filed to construct a new apartment complex at 950 West Julian Street, Garden Alameda, San Jose. The project would bring 300 new units within walking distance of the San Jose Diridon train station, retail, and close to Downtown San Jose. Jemcor Development Partners is responsible for the application.
New high-resolution renderings have been revealed for the proposed six-story office building at 300 South Mathilda Avenue in Sunnyvale. The project is part of the city-altering CityLine Sunnyvale development that is bringing housing, offices, retail, and a new public park to Santa Clara County’s second most populous city. The project is being led by STC Venture LLC, a joint venture with Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group.
