Phase Two Nearly Finished for Brokaw Road Offices, North San Jose

A recent site visit shows facade installation is all but done for the three office buildings at 60 and 134 East Brokaw Road and along Bering Road in North San Jose. The three buildings comprise phase two of the vehicle-oriented Brokaw Road offices project, a multi-million square foot addition by the San Jose international airport. Peery-Arrillaga is the project owner and developer.

Development Plans for 3035 El Camino Real, Santa Clara

Development plans have been approved for the low-density apartment construction of 48 units at 3035 El Camino Real near Koreatown in Santa Clara. The project will add 48 units across four three-to-four story structures, adding a minor but significant contribution along the commercial thoroughfare of a suburban area. The Los Gatos-based Hayden Land Company is the project developer.

The City of Palo Alto has reviewed an application for the entitlement of a 16-building townhome development at 200 Portage Avenue in the affluent city in Santa Clara County. The project would add a low-slung residential project eight minutes from the California Avenue Caltrain Station on a portion of the former Fry’s Electronics property. The Sobrato Organization is responsible for the application.

The Sunnyvale Planning Commission has reviewed updated plans for the Moffett Park Specific Plan. The proposal could bring between 16,000 to 20,000 new residential units and millions of square feet of new office space to 1,156 acres beside the Moffett Federal Airfield and Moffett Field golf course. The proposal would impact land primarily owned by Google, Jay Paul Co., and Lockheed Martin.

Mountain View City Council Approves Office Component of Google’s North Bayshore Development

The City Council of the City of Mountain View has approved Google’s request for the right to build for over a million square feet of net new office space, an important component in the tech company’s North Bayshore development. The decision moves the massive project, including roughly seven thousand residential units with some low-income housing, closer to construction. Council approval for the formal master plan is expected to be received later in Spring.
