The Santa Clara Development Review board is scheduled to review plans for a five-story affordable housing project at 1601 Civic Center Drive later today. The project will replace a single-story office with 108 new homes. Charities Housing is responsible for the proposal.
The plan for a three-tower development in Downtown San Jose is up for public review at a Planning Director’s Hearing tomorrow, December 14th. The meeting comes after the publication of the initial study for the residential infill. The 474-unit project is a joint development with Nabr, a new direct-to-consumer housing startup, and the established local developers at Urban Community.
Holland Partner Group has secured a $168 million loan to construct 407 apartments in phase one of Gateway Crossing in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The loan comes after work started on the first building earlier this year. Once complete, the Gateway Crossing masterplan will create over a thousand and five hundred homes by Caltrain.
A new mixed-use project has received approval for development at 147 East Santa Clara Street in downtown San Jose. The project proposal includes the construction of two buildings offering office and residential spaces. Urban Catalyst, a premier Silicon Valley real estate equity fund, is the project developer. WRNS Studios is the project architect, and GLS Architecture + Landscape is the landscape architect.
FullStack Modular has announced that they have been tapped to construct the Treehouse Hotel in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. Plans are expected to start soon, with the production of modules starting in February of next year.
